I just want to be OK again
he with his need to mean
pointing out all my flaws
as if I couldn't see them

I was never his priority
and he was consumed
with trying to prove
he was always more than me

his loud opinions
always thinking he was right
always taking credit
and dishing out the blame

he was a liar, pathetic, just plain mean
